The Head of State held a meeting in New York with representatives of the Digital Nomads IT community, which unites 400 Kazakhstanis living abroad and working in the world's leading technology companies.
During the meeting, which was held in a warm informal atmosphere, the prospects for the development of the IT industry in Kazakhstan and current global trends were discussed.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev told the participants of the meeting that building of a Fair Kazakhstan opens up new opportunities for talented young people.
The meeting was attended by Asset Abdualiyev, the Head of Strategy and Development of Taskrabbit.com, Anna Fokina, venture investor and Director of DCVC, Aray Sabyrzhan, Google Software Engineer, and Alibek Datbayev, Software Manager at Booking.com. They shared with the President their impressions of working in foreign companies and made several suggestions for further development and improvement of the competitiveness of the domestic IT sector.
In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the representatives of Digital Nomads success and expressed confidence that they will make a significant contribution to the development and prosperity of our country.
