The President emphasized that he places particular importance on parliamentary diplomacy as an effective instrument for bolstering dialogue, trust, and cooperation between nations.
The Head of State briefed his interlocutor on the large-scale political reforms underway in the country. According to him, the new Constitution is designed to ensure institutional stability, enhance governance efficiency, and fortify human rights protections at the highest level.
In turn, Pere Joan Pons noted the significance of the issues discussed at the Regional Environmental Summit. As it was underlined, he had personally witnessed the solidarity of Central Asian states in advancing the regional agenda.
In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s strong commitment to further strengthening cooperation with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
