President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Stephen Schwarzman discussed priority areas of mutually beneficial investment cooperation.
The President noted that Blackstone’s large-scale investment strategy in infrastructure and technology development closely aligns with Kazakhstan’s national priorities in economic diversification, innovation, and sustainable growth.
In this context, President Tokayev elaborated on the strategic goal of transforming Kazakhstan into a fully digital nation.
During the talks, the Head of State proposed that Blackstone consider implementing joint projects on building data centers in Kazakhstan, as well as exploring opportunities for cooperation in asset management through financing technology and fast-growing companies in the country.
Blackstone is the world’s largest investment company, with a market capitalization exceeding $218 billion.
