Visit to Kadir Mirza Ali Centre for Culture and Arts

March 9, 2016

During the visit President Nursultan Nazarbayev attended the arts and culture hall, library, and a memorial hall. The head of state also met with representatives of the region’s creative intelligentsia.

The President noted that scientific achievements and innovations will encourage further growth of the global economy.

Very soon we and the younger generation will witness completely different economic system. We need to prepare for this, above all, through education. The innovative thinking should be instilled in children during school years. The demand for the currently existing professions in the future will decline because of the rapidly evolving science. Therefore the system of education should also change. It is necessary to make sure children have more freedom for creativity,” he said.

Representatives of creative intelligentsia thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for a policy of peace that helps to create necessary conditions for the preservation of culture and traditions of various ethnic groups.
