The concert became a modern show project based on the synthesis of classic and folk music.
A new arrangement for the famous opera dance from “Birzhan and Sara” music opera by Mukan Tulebayev and “Akku” (White Swan) kuy by Nurgisa Tlendiyev and other original musical compositions were for the first time performed at the event.
The concert was concluded with the aitys of orchestras' (the Kazakh traditional special form of musical composition of two or more singers in public). The aim of this musical competition between symphonic and folk orchestras is to demonstrate the talent and musical technique, convergence of the classical music world and folk art.
