During the visit, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces familiarized himself with the information stand and model of military unit 5573, the state of residential and service infrastructure, examined the training facilities and the weapons exhibition.
Addressing the commanders and military personnel, the President stressed that the National Guard deals with the most important tasks of maintaining stability in the country, ensuring safety of citizens and society. The Head of State elaborated on the issues of social support for military servants.
- A separate issue is payables, especially for housing payments. The Cabinet should take comprehensive measures to fully repay it. It is unacceptable when we verbally declare the social protection of soldiers, but in fact we do not fulfill our obligations, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
The Head of State emphasized the need to improve service and combat training, material and technical equipment, giving appropriate instructions to the Cabinet and the Internal Affairs Ministry.
