The priority aspects of the Kazakhstan-Italian cooperation including trade and economic, and investment spheres were discussed at the meeting.
The head of state congratulated M.Renzi on his appointment as Prime-Minister of Italy and noted the dynamic development of the bilateral cooperation.
Besides, the issues of cooperation in such sectors as oil and gas, transport, energy, and agriculture were discussed during the talks. The theme of cooperation of Kazakhstan with the European Union, which will be chaired by Italy in the second half of the year, was touched on as well.
In addition to this, Nursultan Nazarbayev and Matteo Renzi exchanged opinions on the topical issues of the international agenda.
