In his letter the Patriarch thanked the President for a warm and friendly reception in Kazakhstan. Kirill also noted the significance of constant and productive attention of Nursultan Nazarbayev to spiritual needs of the people of our country.
The letter reads:
"I was glad to take part in the meeting of the Council of Religious Leaders and the opening ceremony of the 4th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. I am convinced that the established communications format will keep promoting the atmosphere of mutual understanding among the representatives of different religions and yield good results.”
The Patriarch also stressed that Kazakhstan was an example of a balanced and peaceful life of many ethnic groups, practicing different religious traditions.
At the end of the message Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia wished good health, well-being and success to the President of Kazakhstan and peace and prosperity to the people of Kazakhstan.
