Nakyspek Umbetayev and Alexander Rudskoi expressed their gratitude to Nursultan Nazarbayev for the continuous support of veterans. The authors noted that due to favourable conditions created in the country they regularly get comprehensive assistance.
In his letter, Nakyspek Umbetayev stressed the significance of the upcoming 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. He also expressed his support for the President’s state of the nation address “Nurly Zhol - Path to the Future”, which he called another step towards the development and prosperity of Kazakhstan.
Alexander Rudskoi thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for his initiative to hold a nationwide campaign to support the Great Patriotic War veterans, noting he was favourably impressed with the New Year greetings and a present that he got on behalf of the President.
The veteran from Pavlodar expressed his deep concern over recent developments in the world.
“We, the people who have experienced war, are regrettably witnessing as various conflicts deprive people of their lives. We live in a multi-ethnic, peaceful country, where we feel secure and this is good. May God grant us peace and accord in the future,” the letter reads.
