Karim Massimov reported to the President on the current socio-economic situation in the country.
The head of state stressed the importance of preparing the report on the development of the country for the first half of 2012.
"In early July, I will check the quality of execution of tasks and actual achievement of key indicators of the State Program of Forced Industrial Innovative Development. In addition, it is necessary to effectively conduct the harvesting campaign. Also, it is needed to start preparing for the upcoming winter heating season. Thus, it is important to give appropriate instructions on these and other matters," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The Prime Minister also told that yesterday Kazakhstan's bid to hold EXPO 2017 was presented in Paris. The presentation began with the President's video address.
"Your address was very well received, and the fact that the President personally pays attention to the event is a big plus and greatly increases the chances of Kazakhstan. In general, I believe that the presentation was successful. The bid of Belgium was presented as well. This is a serious competitor. The final decision will be taken November 22," Massimov stated.
In this regard, Nursultan Nazarbayev urged to prepare a quality presentation before the final vote. He gave several instructions to the Prime Minister.
