The meeting heard the reports of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance A.Smailov, Deputy Prime Ministers Z.Kasymbek and G.Abdykalikova, akim of Almaty city B. Baibek, akim of Pavlodar region B. Bakauov.
Noting the stable socio-economic situation in the country and the progressive implementation of state programs, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the need to intensify work in a number of areas.
- Through the wise policy of the First President - Elbasy, in the hardest times we have successfully been on the winning side, ensured positive rates of economic growth and rise in the well-being of the population. Now it is necessary to preserve this dynamic, improve the approaches to work and ensure the high-quality execution of the tasks set. The prime objective lies in improving the well-being of our citizens and their confidence in the future, the President of Kazakhstan said.
Following the meeting, the Head of State has given a number of instructions aimed at ensuring economic growth and attracting investment, strengthening social stability, solving the most acute infrastructural and environmental problems in the regions, preventing floods, ensuring stable operation of housing and public utilities and social facilities, organizing training and carrying out spring field work.
The Presidential Administration has been instructed to take all orders for strict control.
