The Head of the State stressed that Iran is an important partner and a friendly nation for Kazakhstan in the Islamic world.
The President of Kazakhstan noted Iran's large contribution to solving the problem of nuclear disarmament, noting the economic rapid growth after relief of sanctions. Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed hope that Iran's current policy will have a positive effect on all Caspian states.
- Your visit is a continuation of our talks, which started this April in Tehran. I believe that today's meeting will be very productive, the President of Kazakhstan said.
The Head of the State focused on implementation of projects in the framework of the signed commercial agreements between the two countries for more than $ 1 billion.
- The work is in hand, nevertheless, we must go the extra mile. There are still a lot of joint projects, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In turn, the Iranian President expressed hope for further strengthening and evolution of bilateral cooperation.
