During the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan has noted that Turkey is one of the closest and brotherly countries for our republic.
- Over the 25 years since Kazakhstan has gained independence, there has been growth and development of our relations in all directions, the Head of State said.
In turn, Tugrul Turkesh thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the reception and conveyed greetings from the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
- Relations between the Republic of Turkey and Kazakhstan have deep roots. For Turkey, it is important that Kazakhstan takes an active part in the activities of international organizations, including as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey stressed.
