During the meeting, the Head of State stressed the important role of the country's Parliament in implementing political and economic reforms, as well as in the process of public consciousness improvement.
- We have adopted development programs. Legislative base is needed to implement the Address to Kazakhstan’s Nation, economic reforms and the country’s spiritual modernization. I believe that you have enough experience and knowledge to actively participate in this work, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In his turn, Nurtai Abykayev told the President of Kazakhstan about the progress in fulfilling the tasks assigned to the Parliament deputies on legislative support for the ongoing reforms.
