During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the peace-loving nature of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy and noted Kazakhstan’s commitment to constructive cooperation with global institutions.
- I am pleased to welcome you in the city of Nur-Sultan, where you are as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia and the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the Head of State said.
The head of the international organization, in turn, noted that the purpose of the OSCE is conflict prevention, security, effective multilateral cooperation, and also highlighted Kazakhstan’s strategic role in resolving international crises.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to congratulate you on assuming the office of President and wish all the best to you personally and to your country. I am very pleased to visit Kazakhstan as the OSCE chairman, Miroslav Lajčák said.
As part of the meeting, the parties also discussed topical matters of the regional and international agenda, separately dwelled on the prospects of Kazakhstan’s interaction with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europе.
