The Head of State heard the report on monitoring the spending of anti-crisis funds and preliminary results of performance audit of the effectiveness of asset management of quasi-public sector’s companies.
According to Natalia Godunova, resources aimed at supporting the economy and fighting the pandemic is closely monitored by the Accounts Committee and audit commissions. An assessment of the socio-economic impact of the measures taken by the Government will be formed before the end of this year.
President Tokayev instructed to review the audit results at the next meeting of the Accounts Committee in accordance with the law and make specific recommendations on the identified facts of inefficient management of state assets. As far as the President is concerned, the Accounts Committee is carrying out a great and useful work, which he intends to keep under personal control.
