Telegram of condolences to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the terrorist attack in Ankara

February 18, 2016

The telegram notes that it was with great sorrow that the people of Kazakhstan learned of the terrorist attack which caused the loss of many innocent lives.

Nursutan Nazarbayev stressed that Kazakhstanis share the grief over the tragedy with their Turkish brothers. The head of state expressed his deepest concern over the terrorist attack and conveyed the words of encouragement to the Turkish people on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan.


Kazakhstan resolutely condemns all forms of terrorist acts. We are ready to join our efforts with Turkey to ensure international security and stability,” the telegram reads.


On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, President Nursultan Nazarbayev extended deepest condolences to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the bereaved families and those who were injured. The head of state also wished the injured speedy recovery.
