Commenting on the new appointments and structural changes in the Government and a number of government agencies, Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that they are driven by the need to adequately respond to current challenges.
- During the recently held enlarged session of the Government with the participation of akims of oblasts, Astana and Almaty the measures for the transition from anti-crisis activities to economic growth motivation program have been given consideration. That, in turn, involves creating additional jobs and increasing the population’s income, in particular in agriculture, residential housing and other industry sectors. In this context, the new Cabinet has been issued specific targets. The changes in the Government also show that the time has come for a new generation of leaders, and among there are graduates of Bolashak program, said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The Head of State also noted that the changes are intended to raising the well-being of the people, advance of economic indicators, national security protection and steady development of Kazakhstan.
