The meeting was also attended by Tamara Duisenova, Minister of Labour and Social Protection.
G.Abdykalikova stressed that ISSA plays the important role in implementing a unified world policy in the field of social protection of the population. Since 2012 Kazakhstan, being the ISSA member, supports the Association’s objectives and is interested in carrying out joint work to improve the social security system.
The Secretary noted that our country pursues a consistent policy in the field of social protection of the population, which is outlined in Kazakhstan’s Concept of Social Development until 2030. G.Abdykalikova focused on the fact that at present due to socio-economic achievements, Kazakhstan is adjusting issues of promoting employment and development of mass entrepreneurship, creating a sustainable functioning system of social protection of the population.
Gulshara Abdykalikova stressed that Kazakhstan in 2016 was the first member of the ISSA Technical Commission. This is a new impetus for our country in enhancing participation in the activities of this international organization.
At the end of the meeting, the Secretary of State of Kazakhstan wished Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, the ISSA Secretary General, a successful stay in Kazakhstan.
