The Aqaba Process Summit on “Security in the Field of Artificial Intelligence” was held in Astana.
The summit was attended by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Zheenbek Kulubaev, and other officials.
The Aqaba Process is an international initiative launched by King Abdullah II of Jordan in 2015 to counter terrorism and violent extremism.
The forum brings together heads of state and leaders of intelligence agencies, defense institutions, and international organizations to develop a shared understanding of threats and agree on practical measures to address them.
