The Head of the State has taken with deep sorrow the news about a large number of people killed following the terrorist act.
"Kazakhstan strongly condemns the barbaric attack against peace and security and supports the expansion of global cooperation in the fight against terrorism," the telegram reads.
Nursultan Nazarbayev, on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, expressed condolences to the King of Spain Felipe VI, the families and loved ones of the victims, the entire Spanish nation, and also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
