The telegram notes that the Head of State has received with deep sorrow the news of the death of a prominent state and public figure Uzakbai Karamanov.
"Uzakbai Karamanov has worked all his life for the sake of the people and prosperity of his native land. Thanks to his excellent organizational abilities and authority in the society, he held many high government positions and always fulfilled all his duties with honour," the telegram reads.
Nursultan Nazarbayev has emphasized that Kazakhstan’s nation will always remember his name and merits before the country.
