Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received with deep sorrow the sad news of the death of Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said Al Said.
“Qaboos bin Said Al Said dedicated his life to protecting the interests of Oman and its people and maintaining peace and stability in the region. The people of Kazakhstan will always remember Sultan Qaboos as a wise leader, a respected international politician, a historical figure and a prominent statesman who made a significant contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation. On behalf of Kazakhstan’s people and on my own behalf, I express my deep condolences to the people of Oman,” the telegram says.
