The Head of the State has received with great sadness the news about the death of former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl.
"Being a worthy son and patriot of his nation, H. Kohl left an indelible mark in world history as an outstanding statesman who played a major role in uniting his country and developing European integration.
Helmut Kohl will always remain in the memory of Kazakhstan’s nation as a wise person, who made a great contribution to the establishment and strengthening of bilateral friendly relations.
Sharing the bitterness of loss, I express my condolences to the relatives of the deceased and to all the people of Germany,” the telegram reads.
