Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of condolences to President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in connection with the demise of his brother, a prominent statesman of the UAE Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The telegram notes that Sheikh Sultan devoted his life to the selfless service of the interests of the Emirates and their people. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasizes that in the memory of the people of Kazakhstan Sultan Al Nahyan will forever remain as a good citizen, an influential politician and a historical figure who made a significant contribution to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
“Sharing your grief in connection with this irreparable loss, on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and my own behalf, I express my deep condolences to you and all the people of the Emirates,” the telegram says.
