Donald Trump expressed gratitude to Nursultan Nazarbayev for the official visit and highly appreciated the existing relations between Kazakhstan and the United States.
- I am very glad that you are here. You are all deeply respected. Our countries have a wonderful relationship. Now Kazakhstan is in a very good situation. We are honoured to receive you. What you have done for your country is really wonderful, the US President said.
In turn, the President of Kazakhstan thanked Donald Trump for the invitation and congratulated him on the anniversary of his election to the presidency of the United States.
- I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the anniversary of the presidency and on the great economic achievements. Kazakhstan highly values the US political support for the independence and integrity of the territory of Kazakhstan. All 26 years Kazakhstan has been a friend of the USA. Today's visit is proof of this partnership, the Head of State said.
