During the meeting with the Foundation managers, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan is making its strong contribution to solving the problems of global security and peace, disarmament and non-proliferation, control of terrorism, as well as to settlement of regional issues.
The Head of State expressed confidence that the Foundation could implement a number of projects in education, science and culture in our country, bringing into focus preparedness to facilitate cooperation towards promoting the culture of peace and humanism values.
The Goi Peace Foundation, established in 1999, is among the major non-governmental institutions in Japan; it conducts a wide international activity in the area of promoting peace initiatives.
