Visit to “Kamaz Engineering” JSC

Nursultan Nazarbayev got acquainted with the enterprise and the assembly shop, where most of the company’s products are made.

The President also met with employees and managers of industrial enterprises.

The Head of State drew attention to the gradual industrial development of the region, noting that small and medium-sized businesses will get orders from large enterprises.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that the government allocates significant amount of money for the industrial development of the region.

“Kazakhstan is implementing a programme of industrialisation. At a time when other countries are reducing the number of plants, we are building new ones. Only this year about 75 new enterprises will be built, which will employ nearly 3,000 people. The government will continue this work aimed at the development of regions of the country,” he said.

The main products of “Kamaz Engineering” JSC include tipper trucks, road tractors and special machinery. Last year, the plant produced more than 1,250 vehicles.
