The President of Kazakhstan noted that the Kyzylorda region is developing dynamically along with other regions of the country.
“In recent years, the city has changed, the number of parks have increased with favourable conditions being created for its residents. Now we are actively carrying out works to further develop and improve the left bank of the Syr Darya river, including the construction of a bridge and housing. In general, the kindergartens, schools and hospitals are being built in the city,” he said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed there have been created all necessary conditions for the development of the region.
“The transport corridor "Western Europe - Western China", railways, pipelines and power lines cover the region. I got acquainted with the implementation of government programs in the region and the progress of construction of housing facilities. As part of industrialization, large enterprises will be introduced in the region, including a glass factory which will distribute its production to the entire Kazakhstan. On the whole, the situation has improved in all regions of the country,” he said.
The President of Kazakhstan congratulated the residents of Kyzylorda with the achievements of local farmers who have gathered the record amount of rice.
“Rice is the main crop of Kyzylorda region. This year, we received more than 50 quintals per hectare of crops. Previously, these indicators could not be achieved,” the President said.
In conclusion, Nursultan Nazarbayev wished all the residents prosperity and well-being.
