President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the “Digital Centre”, the office on the provision of digital services

At the centre of digital services Kazakhstan’s President was presented with e-government services that provide services to citizens and guests of the country.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was shown new opportunities and benefits of obtaining public services through the mobile application “eGov mobile”, Facebook, VKontakte and Telegram messenger. He also was reported about plans to transfer up to 90% of public services onto digital platform by 2020.

“The main thing is quality and speed. I believe we should be among the advanced countries that actively use high technologies,” the Head of State said.

At the moment, the “Digital Centre” registered biometric data of 1220 citizens, which gives them the opportunity to receive services without presenting identity documents. The centre also provides remote video service. In addition, residents of Nur-Sultan city can learn digital literacy skills in the centre.
