The Head of State got acquainted with the progress of constructing 14 residential houses for immigrants from other regions of Kazakhstan.
In the course of informal communication with the families of the migrants, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the state is taking all measures to support the settlers, and also told about his life.
- You know that I was born in the vicinity of Almaty city. At the age of 17 I left home. Having made this decision, I worked in different regions, through difficulties I became what I am today. You are doing this for the sake of the future of your children, the President of Kazakhstan said.
In conclusion, the Head of State wished the new settlers good health, success, happiness and prosperity in a new place.

In total, in 2018, about 900 people moved to North Kazakhstan, comprising 235 families. All immigrants are provided with rental housing and are employed. The total amount of subsidies for relocation and cost recovery is more than KZT1 billion.
