The Head of State thanked all participants for the warm words of welcome to Kazakhstan and stressed the urgency of strengthening cooperation in the development of science and technology.
At the end of the first working session there was a signing of the Summit’s final document - Astana Declaration.
Nursultan Nazarbayev and the OIC Secretary General awarded outstanding scholars of Islamic countries with the special prize for their contribution to the development of science and technology.
In conclusion, the President of Kazakhstan has invited all the session participants to attend the closing ceremony of the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017.
