As part of participation in the plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council, the Head of the State has held joint negotiations with a number of heads of international companies.
In particular, Nursultan Nazarbayev has spoken to Claudio Descalzi, Chief Executive Officer of Eni S.p.A., Ben van Beurden, CEO of Royal Dutch Shell, and Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL.
During the talks, the key areas of the company's activities in the oil and gas sector of the country were discussed, and topical aspects of further coordination and planning of the development of the Karachaganak and Kashagan fields were discussed.
The heads of the companies noted the productive nature of the Council of Foreign Investors and expressed gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for the created congenial investment climate in the country.
