The Head of State thanked the guest for participating in the Congress and noted the continued support of Kazakhstan’s initiative by the Alliance of Civilizations.
- As a multi-faith state, Kazakhstan contributes to the development of interfaith dialogue. This coincides with the goals of the organization you represent, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In turn, Nassir Abdulaziz al-Nasser thanked the Head of State for the opportunity to take part in the forum and stressed Kazakhstan’s special role in developing mutual understanding between cultures in the world.
- This is my third participation in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. Before, I have not met with representatives of so many faiths. I highly appreciate the efforts of your country in developing the dialogue among civilizations, the High Representative of the Alliance said.
During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev awarded Nassir Abdulaziz al-Nasser with Dostyk Order, Degree II, for his merits in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation among nations and preserving mutual consent in society.
