In her letter Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf emphasized the significance of the theme proposed by Kazakhstan for EXPO-2017 entitled “Energy of the Future”.
“The resource deficit makes the search of alternative sources of energy an important matter. I believe that EXPO as an important platform to discuss and share experience will significantly contribute to the decision of this issue,” the President of the Swiss Confederation highlighted.
Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf expressed confidence that the EXPO-2017 in Astana will be a success.
