Issues of Kazakhstan’s socio-economic, socio-political development, foreign policy, as well as the main events planned for 2020 were discussed during the meeting.
Organizational issues related to the 175th anniversary of Abai and 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi were also touched upon.
In addition, they discussed measures for the economic and social development of the country's regions and key tasks for the first quarter of 2020.
Following the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of specific instructions to strengthen the work on improving the efficiency of public administration and addressing pressing social issues.
