During the meeting the President of Kazakhstan noted the merits of Yury Luzhkov in strengthening the cooperation between Astana and Moscow, and also congratulated him on the belated 70th birthday.
In turn, the ex-mayor of Moscow, having congratulated the Head of the State and all nation of Kazakhstan on the 25th anniversary of the Republic’s Independence, thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for doing honour and the possibility of holding that meeting.
