During the meeting the sides discussed development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation, as well as pressing issues on the international agenda.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of cooperation, despite the geographical distance between the two countries.
- We are a relatively young country that is just beginning to establish relations with African states, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The Head of State also noted that P.Kagame made considerable efforts to bring peace to his country.
- The people of Rwanda experienced a terrible genocide, you were able to stop it and now are doing a lot for the development of the republic, - said the President of Kazakhstan.
In turn, the President of Rwanda thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the meeting and expressed his intention to develop bilateral cooperation.
