During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the development of mass sports, including involvement of youth in sports activities.
The President stressed the importance of promoting healthy lifestyle among young people, noting the necessity to create conditions both for the development of sports and people’s active participation in physical activities.
Daulet Turlykhanov thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the government support of national sports, ensuring the appropriate infrastructure is being created in big cities and in the remotest parts of the country. He noted these efforts have contributed to laying a strong foundation enabling Kazakhstan’s sportsmen to demonstrate good results at the regional and international competitions.
