The President heard a report on the results of the development of Pavlodar region for 10 months of 2020.
According to Abylkair Skakov, there is a positive dynamics of socio-economic indicators of the region. As part of the Employment Roadmap, 227 projects have been implemented, 77% of which are now fully completed. The remaining projects are planned to be completed by the end of the year.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about the health situation in the region, including measures taken to tackle coronavirus pandemic. The Akim of the region said that despite the difficult situation, it is under control. Hospitals are equipped with medical equipment and a sufficient supply of medicines. In addition, the skills and knowledge of 600 medical workers have been improved. 4 new PCR-testing laboratories have been opened in the region. About 3 thousand PCR samples are performed daily.
President Tokayev stressed that Pavlodar region, as one of the most important regions of the country, will enjoy comprehensive support. He gave the Akim a number of instructions to further ensure employment and prevent a decline in the socio-economic development of the region.
