Askar Myrzakhmetov informed Nursultan Nazarbayev about the pace of implementation of tasks given by the President during the last meeting of the Political Council Bureau and told about the key programmes of the party.
Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed the Nur Otan Party will face a large amount of work due to some serious issues on the agenda next year.
As part of the five institutional reforms, nearly eighty new laws will be introduced. In addition, since the beginning of next year, we will start implementing 100 Concrete Steps initiative. In this regard, the party will have a lot of work to do,” he added.
The President also noted the importance of the upcoming reforms that are to be held against the background of global political challenges.
The situation in the world today is anything but simple, our region is experiencing some turbulence as well. All of this influences our country too. Bearing this in mind, it is necessary to explain everything to the public. In these difficult times we have to carry out no less difficult reforms. The implementation of these reforms is needed in order to lay the foundation for future prosperity. The upcoming reforms are as challenging as those carried out in the early 90s. In this regard, I charge the Nur Otan party with the task to take upon itself all the explanatory work among the population,” he said.
Following the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev charged the Nur Otan Party Chairman with some specific tasks.
