Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Association of Regional Environmental Initiatives “EcoJer” Lazzat Ramazanova and founders of Kaspi.kz Vyacheslav Kim and Mikhail Lomtadze.
Lazzat Ramazanova informed the President about the activities of the Association “EcoJer”, the development and implementation of technologies to minimize the negative impact of industrial enterprises on air quality.
During the meeting, the two also touched upon the main provisions of the draft new Environmental Code, which was actively developed by public associations.
The Head of State stressed the need to bring environmental legislation in line with advanced international standards.
Chairman of the Board of Directorsof Kaspi.kz Vyacheslav Kim and the Bank’s CEO Mikhail Lomtadze told President Tokayev about the strategy for the development of digital services and the corresponding ecosystem, as well as the prospects for the growth of e-Commerce in Kazakhstan. Special attention was paid to the company's plans to support SME.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about Kaspi.kz’s preparations for the upcoming public offering of the Bank's shares on the London Stock Exchange and the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).
The President noted the importance of introducing technical innovations in the activities of the Kazakh Bank.
