The Head of State held separate meetings with akims (governors) of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov, Almaty city Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Aktobe region Ondasyn Urazalin, Almaty region Amandyk Batalov, Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev, Pavlodar region Abylkaiyr Skakov and Shymkent city Murat Aitenov.
The heads of regions reported to the President on the main socio-economic indicators of their regions and cities in 2019 and informed about the prospects for their further growth.
President Tokayev gave the governors a number of specific instructions for the development of regions.
