Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with a report on the activities of the oil company in Kazakhstan in 2019. Vagit Alekperov spoke about the current state and prospects of implementation of the “Zhenis” and “I-P-2” offshore projects.
The Russian businessman informed the President on the first results of the LUKOIL lubricants plant in Almaty region, opened in September this year.
The Head of State expressed his gratitude to Vagit Alekperov for the construction of this enterprise.
“This is a very serious contribution of your company to the economy of our country. Of course, such investments will be welcomed,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev underscored.
In turn, Vagit Alekperov noted that the launch of production is the pride for his company. According to him, the company will produce up to 700 types of products and within a month and a half will be able to reach its design capacity.
