The main purpose of the meeting - discussion of measures aimed at reforming the judicial system in the framework of the Plan of the Nation "100 concrete steps - the modern state for all" and the results of the courts activity for the first half of 2015.
The President of Kazakhstan noted the positive effect of ongoing reform in this area, including coming into effect of the new codes, the wider use of alternative preventive measures to arrest and punishment when imprisonment is replaced by paying out compensation to the State.
Following the meeting the President gave a number of specific instructions.
