Karim Massimov reported to Nursultan Nazarbayev on major progress made in social and economic sphere, along with the pace of implementation of key state programmes and current activities of the National Commission for Modernisation.
The President stressed the importance of ensuring proactive and efficient work of the Commission.
“It is necessary that the Commission starts performing the designated tasks as early as possible. It is also important to prepare a draft of the legislative changes before the September session of Parliament, which will have a positive impact on timely implementation of all tasks,” he said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized the need to ensure high-quality spring sowing campaign, further industrial and innovative development of the country, as well as its sustainable economic growth.
Following the meeting, the President charged the Prime Minister with specific tasks.
