During the meeting, Minister of the Interior reported to the Head of the State on the crime situation, the measures being taken to further reform the local police service, and reported on the situation in correctional institutions and the National Guard activity.
In addition, Kalmukhanbet Kasymov briefed on the flood situation and ongoing activities in Astana and the country’s regions on banning emergency cases.
Nursultan Nazarbayev turned attention to the need for action to strengthening crime control and administering justice across the country.
The President of Kazakhstan has also instructed to implement a package of measures to normalize essential services for all regions affected by floods.
Following the meeting, the Head of the State gave a number of specific instructions.
