During the meeting the parties discussed further development of the Eurasian Economic Union, deepening of economic relations with other countries, as well as the overall strategy of the EAEU member states in the global market.
However, these costs are not related to the work of the Eurasian Economic Union. I have no doubt our integration union will bring great benefits. All the more so because today many countries are expressing their desire to join the EAEU or create a common free trade area with us. The current crisis is a temporary thing, while the total capacity of our economies and the volume of the market will remain the same in the future,” he said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev said that membership in the integration association implies not only using the possibilities it opens up, but the contribution to its development.
Tigran Sargsyan, in turn, noted that the position of Kazakhstan’s President on the overall development strategy of the Eurasian Economic Union is of great importance. He also expressed confidence that Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the organisation will provide a strong impetus for its further development.
He noted that the EAEU bodies were instructed to scrutinize Nursultan Nazarbayev’s address to the heads of the Union states.
