At the meeting of the Commission, there was a consideration of proposals of state bodies, organizations and public associations for awarding state awards.
The Commission is a consultative and advisory body under the President of Kazakhstan, which evaluates proposals for approving and abolishing state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, draft laws and other normative legal acts on awards, representations on awarding state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following the meeting, the Commission members identify the candidates for the award, which will be recommended to the Head of State.
Traditionally, the awarding event takes place on the eve of Independence Day.
