The meeting participants discussed the findings of social research in interethnic relations made by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in cooperation with the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
Senior officials of the Presidential Administration, representatives of the interested ministries and agencies, as well as members of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan attended the meeting.
Deputy Chairman of the APK Scientific Expert Council and the Head of the Centre for interethnic and interreligious relations in Central Asia of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Sadvakassova presented the research findings.
Gulshara Abdykalikova stressed that conducting social research is an objective necessity, which helps to define major direction, methods and ways of implementing national ethnic policy.
Following the results of the meeting, the Secretary of State gave specific instructions to the government agencies.
